About my car: I originally purchased my Mustang in April of 1976. At that time it was an Aqua Blue, 6 cylinder model with a standard Black interior. Its only options were AM Radio, C4 Automatic Transmission and Power Steering. It was white from the factory but had been repainted Aqua sometime in the past.
Through the years I have made many changes. It now has a modified 302 engine. Some of the mods are:
- Cobra dual plane intake manifold
- headers
- Holley 600 cfm carb
- Competition Cams 280HE cam (280 duration, .490 lift, 110 lobe separation)
- 351W heads with oversized valves (1.94″ intake, 1.5 exhaust)
- Competition Cams Roller Tip rocker arms
- Pertronix ignition module
On the exterior I have turned it into a GT model with all the factory GT options. In the interior it has the Deluxe Interior with Upper and Lower Consoles and a AM/8 Track radio. I updated the rear axle to be a Ford 9″ with 3.25 ratio gears. I recently updated the front suspension by replacing the upper control arm and giving it the 1″ Arning/Shelby Drop and replacing the lower control arm. It has the 620 lbs. Boss 302 front springs, 1″ front and 5/8″ rear sway bars.
